Envelope Builder

Envelope Builder simplifies Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for data integration with LinXmart. It produces validated data files with clear handling instructions, ensuring seamless compatibility with LinXmart software. By standardising and validating matching fields, Envelope Builder converts data from diverse sources into consistent formats — essential for both clear text and privacy-preserving record linkage.

There are two ways to use Envelope Builder:

Envelope Builder App​

The Envelope Builder App is a portable, standalone application for Microsoft Windows. It offers a simple interface for loading and transforming datasets for linkage.

Data custodians can use the app to encode and prepare data files, making it easier to standardise and encrypt data at the source before securely releasing it for linkage.

Envelope Builder Libraries​

Envelope Builder libraries are available as .NET NuGet packages from our private feed. Integrate these libraries into your applications to automate the separation and ETL of source data into a consistent format for linkage.
